InMotion Fest Queretaro 2018

The first International Meeting of Animation and Digital Innovation “InMotion Fest Queretaro 2018” was held with the purpose of consolidating the creative industries in a sustainable way in the state of Queretaro, Mexico.

On that occasion, it was on behalf of the state governor, Francisco Dominguez Servien, who was the head of the Secretariat of Sustainable Development (SEDESU), Marco Antonio del Prete Tercero, in his inaugural message said that the event puts the triple helix into practice, “government, industry and academia”.

During the two days of activities at the event, there were different educational sessions, digital art, workshops, conferences, projections, animation rally, interactivity between companies and university students; There were speakers from the industry who have worked in companies such as Disney, Pixar, DreamWorks, ILM, Weta Digital, Animal Logic, Badel, Illion Animation Studios, among others.

InMotion Fest Queretaro 2019

The second festival of the InMotion Fest was also held in Querétaro where Teacher Marcela Aldrete Saldívar, General Director of the Universidad del Valle de Atemajac (UNIVA) Campus Querétaro, participated in the line of honor of the festival's opening ceremony.

Luis Bernardo Nava, Municipal President of Querétaro, highlighted that InMotion Fest is one of the most important creative events internationally, something that will undoubtedly be an incentive for UNESCO to grant us the designation of Creative City of Design.

InMotion Fest, the international animation and digital innovation festival, took place on October 3 and 4, at the Queretaro Congress Center. Students from the degrees in Strategic Graphic Design, Communication Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing and International Trade were present at this event.

InMotion Fest 2020

The third edition of the InMotion Fest was held virtually together with companies, creatives and startups involved in the world of entertainment.

The event was held on the first and second of October, where 30 universities, 50 member companies, and a dozen speakers participated.

One of the objectives of this meeting was to encourage the creation of companies in this sector, which were promoted with B2B meetings and startup promotion areas where credits and capital funds were offered.

InMotion Fest 2021

InMotion Fest 2021 was the fourth edition of the International Animation and Creative Industries Festival. On that occasion and given the current situation of festivals since the pandemic, the online event sought to offer the public a more immersive experience.

This year the event took place from September 30 to October 2 and was not only in an “online” format but also in person.

There was a 360º digital platform where you could take a virtual tour of all the stands for this edition. The public could enter from a device such as a computer or from any mobile device.
